This place has been a family favorite for decades. Food tastes amazing and super reasonably pricing especially for here. Can't love this place enough and is my top pick in the area. Awesome people, service and atmosphere too.

Food is always consistent and good. A little greasier cheeseburger than I remember but still tasted good. Banana shake was on point and service relatively fast.

Happy Hound is that burger and dog place that's been there forever and every local knows and (most) loves. It's quite small, looking like it's from another time, and nothing like it's jumbo sized franchise competitors. The "Hound of Happiness" as my kids call it has been in our family rotation for over 20 years so we've seen it through ups, downs, fires, and ownership changes. The kitchen is tiny but well laid out with more fryers, grills, steamers, dog rollers, and prep areas than seems dimensionally possible. Tonight there somehow were six (SIX!) people efficiently working to get out food for a mini rush of customers. Our food tonight, a Happy Burger, Hell Hound, and fries, was all good but the Hell Hound with its grilled onions, grilled jalapeños and bacon bits stood out. The place survived a fire some years ago and the local neighborhood was pleased to see it come back. The space is now a little worn around the edges and could use some renovation but hopefully done with a light touch that doesn't subtract from its retro charm. We'll be back ... we always are!

Outstandingly Delicious! Had lunch here today with a grade school buddy. He had a double Happy burger with cheddar and I had a single with mushrooms and jalapenos. The meat is super juicy and very tasty. Perfectly spiced and cooked! The produce was garden fresh! The bun was fresh and tasty. We had onion rings and fries too! Battered onion rings were very tasty. Just the right amount of satisfying crunch! The fires were think and crispy with a pillow soft inside. Delicious food either with wonderful service all in a cozy little restaurant! We will be back soon!

THIS place is fireeee! I recommend getting double dawgs if you want it to be more filling. The hotdogs and chillidogs are so flavorful. They're packed with so much. There's a lot of parking too and the place does have enough seating. GET the dawgs grillled! The person helping use pick and waiting for us to order was really nice too and helpful. Place feels like a retro hotdog place its quite nice.

Big burger, small prices! Smash burgers are all the hype these days. A good old fashioned thick patty is what you get here. Beef patties are 1/3 lb and cooked well done. I got a cheeseburger, with grilled onions and all the toppings, for $11. That's a pretty decent price these days, especially for the size. Patty itself could use more seasoning, but overall a tasty burger. I'll try it with their angry sauce next time.

Came here with my friend on a rainy night during the week looking for a lil burger fry shake meal and boy this was something. There was one other party who also decided to take shelter here and enjoy some good food. The cashier was very friendly, polite and enthusiastic. I ordered a double happy burger, a blackberry shake and my friend and I shared a family fry. The burger itself was solid but nothing to write home about. The blackberry shake was amazing. Not overly sweet and a super good shake overall. The family style fries HUMONGOUS. They are literaly family style fries don't think they're just like a large fry they're like 6 portions of fries. We tried our best and barely made a dent in it. I had a lot leftover and it took me two more meals to even finish the leftovers. Overall I liked this place. Not a bad spot for some American food and I was hugely a fan of the shakes. I also saw they had seasonal shakes which is a fun addition

I came here 4 times now and each time I was very pleased with the experience. Located on Los Gatos blvd, they have a small parking lot and ample street parking nearby. The place is pretty small inside and you can smell the goodness from a block away. The inside is comparable to a caspers, with a few tables to eat at as well. There was the typical lunch time rush where the line almost made it out the door. From blue collar workers, business suits and everybody in between, they all come here and leave happy it seems. I got the hell hound, fries and a medium soda which added up to 19 bones and some change. Very good dog and the fries are standard, maybe comparable to McDonald's in size and taste. I don't have any complaints but it can take a while to get your food. Nothing too bad but it wouldn't hurt to call your food in if you're in a rush. The inspector on our job came here and got a burger, which he wasn't too happy about. I didn't try it and can't vouch for his taste buds but I personally don't go to hot dog places and get a burger the same way I don't go to a seafood restaurant to order chicken strips lol. The staff was very friendly and had their head in the game. Very task driven to get the line taken care of at a decent pace without sacrificing quality
